About Tournament of Kings
Tournament of Kings at Excalibur in Las Vegas invites guests to journey back in time for a rousing evening filled with the sights, sounds, and flavors of the Middle Ages. This live-action dinner show takes place in a grand arena reminiscent of a royal court, where each section of the audience is aligned with a different “country” and its valiant king. The excitement kicks off as knights in shining armor thunder into the arena on horseback, ready to compete in a series of thrilling contests—jousts, sword fights, and high-stakes races that keep the audience on the edge of their seats. Lively music, captivating poetry, and the cheers of the audience create an electric atmosphere, transporting everyone to a bygone era of chivalry and revelry. The immersive experience extends beyond the entertainment, as guests are treated to a hearty feast served without utensils—true to Medieval tradition. The menu features a generous portion of seasoned roasted chicken, lemon pepper potatoes, sweet corn on the cob, a fresh dinner roll, and a delicious apple square for dessert. Dietary needs are thoughtfully accommodated, with gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, nut-free, children’s, and kosher options available upon request. As the festivities unfold, King Arthur and his noble knights gather around a large round table at the heart of the arena, sharing fellowship and raising their goblets in celebration. Festivities include a vibrant dance by the court maidens and culminate in a spirited competition to crown the evening’s champion king. Guests should note that the show involves pyrotechnics, loud noises, and sudden booms that can be intense; those sensitive to sound may want to bring ear protection for a more comfortable experience.
