About the Show
Mac King holds a record no other Las Vegas performer can claim: the longest-running one-man show in the history of Las Vegas. Penn & Teller, who’ve seen every magician there is, called him “the greatest comedy magician at least alive today” on Fool Us. That’s the credibility behind what looks like a simple afternoon show at Excalibur.
The 70-minute performance is full of signature bits — catching live goldfish out of thin air with a fishing rod cast over the audience’s heads, performing stunts with his pet guinea pig “Colonel Sanders,” making his own head disappear into a paper bag, and turning himself completely invisible. The comedy is woven through every trick, not saved for between them. Because of the audience interaction, no two shows are exactly alike.
