Best Cirque du Soleil Shows in Las Vegas

Run away and join the Cirque
No company defines the modern Vegas spectacle like Cirque du Soleil. Gravity-defying acrobatics, custom-built theaters, and staging you won’t see anywhere else — these are the marquee productions people fly in to see. There are five in town, and they’re more different from each other than you’d think.
Four are family-friendly; one is strictly adults-only. Here’s how they compare — and which to pick for your group.

The family-friendly spectaculars
The four all-ages productions — from the most accessible first-timer pick to the most jaw-dropping spectacle in town.
O by Cirque du Soleil
Bellagio · 5+
The water-based Cirque masterpiece at the Bellagio, performed in, on, and above a 1.5-million-gallon pool. Widely considered the most visually spectacular show in Las Vegas — the splurge that lives up to the hype.
KÀ by Cirque du Soleil
MGM Grand · 3+
A massive, story-driven Cirque epic about separated twin siblings, staged on a giant tilting, rotating platform with martial arts, fire, and pyrotechnics at MGM Grand. The most narrative-heavy Cirque — and, at 3+, the most kid-friendly.
Mystère by Cirque du Soleil
Treasure Island · 5+
The longest-running Cirque show in Vegas (since 1993) at Treasure Island — colorful, family-friendly acrobatic wonder with no complicated plot. The most accessible Cirque and the ideal first-timer pick.
Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil
Mandalay Bay · 5+
Cirque’s Michael Jackson production at Mandalay Bay, built on his original recordings with 63 performers in a custom 360-degree theater (no impersonator). A tribute-as-spectacle that doubles as the best MJ show in town.
Adults-only Cirque
Cirque after dark — one grown-up, nightlife-themed show with a bar built in.
Mad Apple by Cirque du Soleil
New York-New York · 18+
Cirque’s adults-only love letter to New York nightlife at New York-New York — acrobatics, live music, magic, and stand-up with a pre-show stage bar. The grown-up, party-leaning Cirque; lighter on raunch, heavier on cool.
How to choose
- First Cirque show? Mystère is the most accessible and classic — pure acrobatic wonder, no complicated story.
- Want the most spectacular? O, performed in and above a 1.5-million-gallon pool, is the visual showstopper.
- Big story and scale? KÀ stages a martial-arts epic on a giant tilting platform (and is the most kid-friendly at 3+).
- Music fan? Michael Jackson ONE turns his catalog into a full Cirque production.
- Adults-only night? Mad Apple is the grown-up, party-leaning option.
One note: four of the five are family-friendly (KÀ from 3+, the others 5+), but Mad Apple is strictly 18+. Check ratings before you bring the kids.
