Michael Jackson ONE has been running at Mandalay Bay since 2013 and is consistently one of the highest-reviewed shows in Las Vegas. Cirque du Soleil built this production from the ground up using Michael Jackson’s original recordings — and made a deliberate choice not to cast an MJ impersonator. Instead, 63 performers embody his energy through acrobatics, urban dance, and choreography, which turns out to be more powerful than imitation.

The show follows four misfit characters pulled into Michael’s world, moving through 90 minutes of production design that’s technically unlike anything else on the Strip — 587 lighting fixtures, 26 video mapping projectors, and a custom-built 360° theater where every seat is intentional. Performers warm up the audience in the lobby before the show even begins. It’s been running for over a decade because it consistently delivers.
