About the Show
KÀ has been running at the MGM Grand since 2004 and is still one of the most technically ambitious shows in Las Vegas. It tells a story — an actual narrative — about twin siblings separated during a siege of their Far Eastern palace, which makes it the first Cirque du Soleil production built around a plot rather than a theme. The LA Times called it “the most lavish production in the history of Western theater.”
The stage is the show’s signature: a massive platform that tilts, rotates, and transforms into mountains, ocean waves, and vertical cliffs, with performers fighting, flying, and falling across it in ways that defy easy description. The Wheel of Death sequence alone tends to stop the room. Martial arts combat, aerial acrobatics, fire, and pyrotechnics fill out 90 minutes with almost no pauses.
Choose it when you want the full Cirque experience with the added anchor of a story. Skip it if you want comedy, music, or something more lighthearted.
Who It’s For
Action & Adventure Fans
Battle scenes, martial arts, the Wheel of Death, and a story about survival make KÀ the most action-driven Cirque show in Las Vegas.
First-Time Cirque Visitors
The narrative structure makes it easier to follow than abstract Cirque productions — a strong entry point into the genre.
Premium Night Out
The scale, technical ambition, and 1,950-seat KÀ Theatre make this one of the flagship Vegas experiences for visitors who want the real thing.
