Piff the Magic Dragon is the alter ego of British magician-comedian John van der Put, who built a devoted following through America’s Got Talent and Penn & Teller: Fool Us before settling into his Las Vegas residency at the Flamingo. He has since been voted Magician of the Year by The Magic Castle — joining previous recipients like Penn & Teller, David Blaine, and Siegfried & Roy — and has won multiple Best of Las Vegas awards including Best Headliner, Best Magician, and Best Comedian.

The 75-minute show is built around Piff’s signature deadpan British wit, jaw-dropping magic, and relentless audience participation. He is typically joined onstage by Jade Simone and Mr. Piffles II, the “world’s only magic performing Chihuahua.” The comedy is sharp and subversive without going adult. Every bit flows into the next with callbacks that reward paying attention.
